YAKIMA, WASHINGTON, June 15, 2018 – John I. Haas, Inc., world’s leading supplier of hops, hop products, and services and a member of the Barth-Haas Group, welcomes Jim Ringo as their new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ringo, former Global Sales and General Management Executive for Land O’ Lakes and Cargill, has spent more than 25 years managing sales, strategy, risk management and R&D for agricultural production, food, feed, renewable energy, food service and consumer retail brands.

As Vice President, Global Commercial Director and General Manager at Cargill, Ringo led the start up and growth of Cargill’s specialty malt distribution business to serve micro-brewers as well as the development of new gluten free beer ingredients. He also actively provided ingredient price risk management advisory services to Cargill’s major food ingredient customers including Coca Cola, General Mills, Kraft Foods, Miller Brewing Company and Hershey.

Prior to joining the John I. Haas team, Ringo served as the Director of Sales for Land O’ Lakes’ Global Dairy Ingredients division where he led a global sales team responsible for over $1.5 billion in annual sales. While there, Ringo expanded their global dairy seasonings business.

Ringo is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and was the President of the Washington State Future Farmers of America. Ringo recently moved to Yakima, WA with his wife, Stefanie and their 2 boys, Alex (18) and Nathan (20).
