MICerveSA celebrates 15 years of brewing excellence in Mexico
Our partners in Mexico celebrated their quinceañera with a conference, collab brew, and of course, a great party.
In September our friends at MICerveSA® in Chihuahua, Mexico celebrated their 15th anniversary. This milestone is especially significant as the MICerveSA team also debuted the facilities of their new Centro Técnico, which will house their new company headquarters as well as a pilot brewery, educational area, a tasting room, and a future beer laboratory.
“I’m grateful for the partnership we have enjoyed with MICerveSA over the years,” shared Alfredo Almeida, Director of International Sales for John I Haas. “It was an honor to attend the anniversary party—congratulations, team!”
The celebration began with a day-long seminar for customers from across Mexico, where suppliers from different countries gave in-depth presentations, including our own Brewing Solutions Specialist Alejandro Cortés. Alejandro spoke on the applications of innovative hop products in beer and other beverages (Uso de Nuevas Tecnologías en Lúpulo para Cerveza y Otras Bebidas), focusing on how to use and get the most out of innovative products such as Spectrum and Euphorics to improve overall flavor and drinking experience.
The seminar was followed by the anniversary party and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Centro Técnico, with several customers, suppliers, family and friends in attendance.
Day two of the celebrations included a group brew day, where a Session IPA using Mosaic Incognito and T90 Eclipse was made using MICerveSA’s new pilot brew system and will debut at this year’s Expo Cerveza México, to be held in Mexico City from October 25-27.
About the Centro Técnico
The Centro Técnico’s new pilot brewery is designed to support customers in recipe development, including testing out new and innovative products in their existing recipes and finding ways to improve their beers. MICerveSA also plans to use this pilot brewery to test new products from their suppliers to provide customers with first-hand information on best practices and what to expect from them. They’ll also use the pilot brewery to host brewing courses for their customers and those in the Chihuahua area who want to expand their knowledge with expert instruction.
This facility also includes an educational area where MICerveSA will host seminars and classes as well as a tasting room for showcasing pilot brews and spending quality time with colleagues and customers.
In the future, the Centro Técnico will be home to a beer laboratory, where customers can send their products for expert lab analysis.
